The CREATE CX-9800 spectrometer is used to verify the chemical composition of metal materials before they enter production. By identifying the concentration of key alloying elements, the quality team can confirm that each melt matches the required material grade and is suitable for casting.
In a typical case, a representative sample is taken from the molten metal and prepared for analysis. The measured elemental results are compared with the approved composition range.
