Inspection Case: Multi-Angle Measurement of Complex Components
The Renishaw PH10T probe system is used with coordinate measuring equipment to inspect complex parts from multiple orientations. Its indexing head allows the probe to reach side walls, angled surfaces, holes and other features that cannot be measured efficiently from a single direction.
In a typical lighting-component case, a machined housing is inspected for mounting-hole position, datum alignment, flatness and critical interface dimensions. The probe head indexes to the required angles while the part remains fixed, helping the operator complete the inspection with fewer manual setups and more consistent results.
